He is survived by: his parents, Danny Chavez and Liz Chavez; his wife Laura Chavez; his children, Tay Marie Chavez, Lyla Destiny Chavez, Luis Daniel Chavez Jr., Livi Dream Chavez and Levi Daniel Chavez; his sister Lesly Padilla (Diego); his grandmother Gloria Guerrero; his parents-in-law, Paul, Elvia Bradshaw and Richard Martinez; and his siblings-in-law, Ricky Martinez (Christine) and Valerie Valdez (Eugenio). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
