It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Jimenez (Del Rio, Texas), born in Utopia, Texas, who passed away on March 4, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ramon Segura Jimenez; her children, Maria Elena Jimenez, Guadalupe Jimenez and Juan Ramon Jimenez; her siblings, Aurora Jimenez, Aurelia Jimenez, Candelaria Jimenez, Ernestina Jimenez and Dolores Jimenez; her grandchildren, Maricela Jimenez Marines and Jose Alfredo Jimenez; and her great grandchildren, Joseph Anthony Moncivais, Destiny Calderon and Cassandra Carrizalez.
She is survived by: her children, Ramona Muniz (Ernesto Muniz) of Del Rio, Rosalinda Martinez (Manuel Martinez) of Mission and Hipolito Jimenez (Catalina Jimenez) of Del Rio; her siblings, Raul Jimenez, Victor Jimenez and Guadalupe Jimenez; and her grandchildren, Sandra, Ray, Maria, Lisa, Cynthia, Janet, Genie, Juan Ramon Jr., Hector Jr., Eloy, Jessica, Michael, Kathryn, Elizabeth, Melinda and Manuel. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great grandchildren great-great grandchildren.
