She was predeceased by: her son Luis Lauro Hernandez (Beverly); her daughter-in-law Berta Hernandez; her brothers, Antonio Alvardo and Luis Alvarado; and her mother María Alvarado (Venancio Hernández).
She is survived by: her children, Diva Mayra Vazquez (Francisco), Jose Venancio Hernandez (Maria Isabel), Maite Rivera, Mario Hernandez and Naela Dominguez (Rogelio Jr); and her sister Imelda Fernandez. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
