He was predeceased by: his son Johnny Benitez; and his parents, Antonio Benitez and Bertha Benitez. He is survived by: his daughters, Geri Benitez and Jackie Perez (Steve); his grandchildren, Sara Luevanos, Salome Luevanos, Kalina Ardila and Adam Ardila; and his great grandchildren, Jolene Grace Espinoza and Lila Jacqueline Espinoza.
