He was predeceased by: his wife Paula P. Cuevas; his parents, Jesus Cuevas Cuevas and Rosa Maria Delgado Sierra; and his brother Jose Angel Cuevas. He is survived by: his children, Jesus Manuel Cuevas, Jr. (Liliana), Francisco Javier Cuevas (Monica), Saul P. Cuevas (Carrie) and Angelica P. Cuevas (Jose); and his siblings, Felipe Cuevas, Humberto Cuevas, Saul Cuevas, Leonor Cuevas Delgado and Bertina Cuevas of Esparza. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
