He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Sr. Fernandez and Felicitas Carmona Fernandez. He is survived by: his wife Herlinda Isabel Padilla Fernandez; his sons, Jesse III Fernandez (Velma) and Fernando Fernandez (Perla); his niece Mary Cienega (Ector); his grandchildren, Jesse IV, Ana Karina, Sofia, Isabella, Maximiliano and Leonardo Fernandez; and his siblings, Hector Fernandez (Laura), Mary Gloria Arizpe (JJ), James Fernandez, Ralph Anthony Fernandez, Donny Fernandez (Monica), Carmen Ortega (Eddie) and Norma Lisa Chavira (Mark).
