He is survived by: his wife Dora Elia Chavez of Del Rio; his children, Jesus G. Chavez Jr. of Abilene, TX, Eloy G. Chavez (Marisol S. Chavez) of Del Rio and Claudia Treviño (Armando Treviño) of Del Rio; his siblings, Juan Chavez, Maria Elena Holguin and Guadalupe Chavez; and his grandchildren, Armando Treviño Jr., Audrey Treviño, Andre Treviño, Eloy Jesus Chavez and Jesus. He is also survived by many other relatives, friends and a great granddaughter.
