He is survived by: his wife Sondra Meil; his children, Jessie Meil, Jr. (Marsha), Steve Meil, Jodie Stone (Gerald), Johnny Meil, Marla Madrid and Paige Weatherby; and his brother Richard Junior Meil. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
