Jaime was predeceased by: wife Alicia G. Ortiz; parents, Dorotea Ortiz and Eulalia Ortiz; parents-in-law, Ladislao and Marina Gonzalez; and siblings-in-law, Ladislao Gonzalez, Ernesto Gonzalez, Christobal Gonzalez, Gloria Camacho, Carmen Saenz, Letty Padilla and Sandra Reyes.
Jaime is survived by: daughter Faith (Mark Nieto) of Boerne; grandchildren, Jaime Andres Nieto of Boerne, Texas, Arriella Nieto of Boerne, Texas and Ava Nieto of Boerne, Texas; son Marcos Antonio Ortiz (Giovanna) of San Antonio, Texas; siblings, Jose Dorotea Ortiz (Sylvia) of San Antonio, Texas and Rosa Ortiz of Del Rio, Texas; and siblings-in-law, Toni Ybarra, Velma Zambrano (Jose) of Del Rio, Rosie Lopez (Juan) of Weatherford, Texas, Daniel Reyes and Robert Padilla of Del Rio, Texas.. Jaime is also survived by numerous uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews, cousins.
