She was predeceased by: her husband Ramon Escareño Sr.; her son Eutimio "Timmy" Escareño; and her son-in-law Jose Muniz. She is survived by: her children, Lucia Muniz, Elsa, Nelda Cantu (Oscar), Ramon Escareño Jr. (Narce) and Adam Escareño (Margie) of Corsicana; her sisters-in-law, Francisca Soto, Estrella Prieto, Eva Cantu and Rosa Escareno; and also Mary Garcia. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
