She is survived by: her husband Bennie Sanders, Jr.; her children, Leon Carl Best (Debra), Zaundra Yvonne Wyatt (Stanley), Jeannine Opoku (Kofi), Bennie Sanders, III and Jihan Mechae; her sister Nancy Williams; her nephews, Rodney Hopkins (Crystal), Derek Hopkins and Calvin Delaney, Jr.; her grandchildren, Leon Carl Best, Jr. (Melanie), Demarcus Best (Joy), Christian Best (Alexis), Stanley Wyatt, III, LaShay Yvonne McQueen (Jeremy), Tony Safo (Ann) and Yaw Poku (Wisteria); and also Nike Baby. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
