She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ismael Rangel; her parents, Adalberto Zapata and Ascencion Zapata; her brothers, Ambrosio, Adalberto and Juan Zapata; her children, Juan Ismael Rangel (Diana), Roberto Rangel (Erenia), Rodrigo Rangel (Leticia), Eduardo Rangel (Tanya) and Georgina Fletcher (Jimmy); and her siblings, Andres Zapata, Acencion Zapata, Amelia Lopez, Tomasa Zapata, Maria Chavez and Refugio "Cuca" Escobedo. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
