She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Valadez and Angela Valadez (Encarnacion); her daughter Angelita Zuniga Valdez; her sister Hermelinda Chavira; her son-in-law John Calderon; and her granddaughter Gloria Jazmine Herrera.
She is survived by: her daughters, Maria Elena Calderon, Antonia Salazar, Luz Herrera and Sobeida Renteria; her sister Graciela Rush; and her grandchildren, Eloisa Valdez, Esteban Valdez Jr., Adriana Mendoza, Yvette Calderon, Yvonne Pete, Veronica Mojica, Lorena Martinez, John Calderon Jr., Rogelio Ruiz, Elizabeth Valadez (Daisy), Alejandra, Ernestina, Simon Herrera, Bianca and Briana Renteria.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial (2020 N Bedell Ave, Del Rio, TX 78840). A Mass was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (307 E Losoya St, Del Rio, TX 78840).
