She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Homer Hopkins and Susie Inez Vaughan Hopkins; her siblings, Homer Eugene Hopkins and Ina Gene Hopkins Evans; and also James Benjamin Savage.
She is survived by: her husband James Murrell Murdoch (Jim); her children, Vicki Sue Murdoch Judice and James Lawrence Murdoch (Jimmy); her children-in-law, Kevin L. Judice of The Woodlands and Tibby Quick Murdoch of Del Rio; her grandchildren, Catherine Elizabeth Judice Savage (Joe), William Hall Judice, Lockett Murrell Murdoch and Jimie Glee Murdoch; her close friends, Susanna Gutierrez and Danny J. Roberson; and also, Henry Thomas Savage and Jinks Sterling Murdoch-Hill.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sue's memory to the First United Methodist Church of Del Rio, Tx or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
