He was predeceased by: his parents, Eliseo Meza and Manuela Meza; and his brothers, Vidal and Edward Meza. He is survived by: his wife Martina Meza; his children, Edward Meza (Rebecca), John Meza, Sandra Smith, Richard Meza (Crystal), Laura Villegas (Francisco), Michelle Jordan (Dan) and Michael Meza (Bertha); his sisters, Ernestine Barron, Elena Ramirez, Elma Sauceda and Evangelina Lozano; his grandchildren, Natalie, Carmen Meza, James Fernandez Jr., Mary Cienega, Christina Guzman, Ralph Fernandez, Jennifer Juarez, Alan, Adrian, Aaron, Amanda Meza, Ryan Villegas, Micaela, Ethan Jordan, Melina Arizpe and Bella Meza; his great grandchild Bexleigh Fernandez; and his grandchildren, Karina, Miranda, Savannah, Elijah Cienega, Juliet Guzman, Madilynn Fernandez, Christopher Juarez, Mason, Matthew and Michael Arizpe.
