He is survived by: his wife Maria Elena Garza; his children, Eleazar Garza Junior (Marisol), Lina Garza, Fernando Garza (Abigail) and David Garza; his grandchildren, Valeria, Sofia, Lillian, Leonardo, Lazaro, Miguel, Alejandro Jesus, Olivia, Brent Jacob, Faith, Johnathan, Joseph, Edith and Noah; his great grandchildren, Leyla, Leslie and Sheila; and his siblings, Indalecio Garza Sandoval, Elvia Verastegui, Elsa Verastegui and Javier Verastegui. He is also survived by nieces nephews and extended family.
