She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Hammer and Barbara Hammer; and her sister Susie Hammer. She is survived by: her spouse Dora Luna; her daughter Tiffany (Craig Lauderdale); her sisters, Kathleen Cox and Sandra; her brother-in-law Richard Juarez; her nephews, Rhyan and Joshua Juarez; her great-nephew Gunner; and her grandchildren, Taylor, Landon, Jaxon, Cruze, Abigail and Charlie Lauderdale.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Cheryl's Cosmetology student fund as they carry on their tradition of excellence.
