He was predeceased by: his parents, Silverio Lira and Argentina Gonzalez of Lira; and his siblings, Lilia, Silverio, Inocencia, Hector, Hervey, Guillermina and Jose Eleazar.
He is survived by: his children, Armando Lira Jr., Maria E. Correa (Armando), Alejandra Lira and Cecilia A. Ibarra (Jaime); and his grandchildren, Cesar Resendez Jr., Eduardo Resendez, Armando Correa Jr., Sebastian Correa, Santiago Ibarra, Mateo Ibarra, Jessica Correa and Victoria Resendez.
