He was predeceased by: his parents, Santos and Maria; his siblings, Julia Martinez and Guadalupe Factor; and his daughter-in-law Anita G. Hernandez.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Reyna, Mario Hernandez, Rosie Rodriguez and Thelma Cienega; his grandchildren, Liza Rodriguez (Jerry Soto), Wesley Hernandez (Terri Hernandez), Ruben Rodriguez, Selina Randez (Daniel Randez) and Sara Cienega; and his great grandchildren, Anastasha Elizondo, Alina Randez, Adan Randez and Luis Gael Escobedo.
