It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erna Lee Stewart (DeKalb, Texas), who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Mamie Murray-Butts (Bobby Stewart); her brother Clemmie Murray; and her son Michael Murray. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Stewart; her children, Dion, Erna and Bobby; her siblings, Essie Deloney Stephney, Linda Faye Murray, Glimerine Ware, Shirley Fields (Charlie), Beverly Permetter (John), Pamela Murray and Gary Murray; her son Dionte Stewart; her grandchildren, Xavier "Quan" Stewart, Christopher, Vanessa Stewart and Alyah Murray; and her great grandchild Melanie Bagby. She is also survived by auntie and her mother.
