She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Gillie and Jessie Gillie (Hallmark); her spouse L. C. Walker Jr.; her daughter Mary Katherine Prock; and her siblings, Bertha Wagner, Pat Whiteside, Freeland Gillie, Lew Gene Gillie and Robert Gillie.
She is survived by: her children, David Lawrence Walker, Jo-Ellen Allen, Larry Douglas Walker, Michael W. Walker Sr. and John Walker Sr.; and her brother Roy Gillie.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carter Conley Funeral Home (13701 Corpus Christi St, Houston, TX 77015). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Kitchens Cemetery N Hwy.
