He is survived by: his father William Jessie; his wife Neva Harrison Howard; his sons, Ernest Alton Howard, Jr. (Amy) and Daniel Todd Howard (Kim); his granddaughter Adaline Rose Howard; his siblings, William Jessie Howard (Linda) and Mona Lisa Lawson; and his siblings-in-law, David Harrison (Arlene) and Donna Hanson.
