It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Louise Morgan Fortenberry of Decatur, Texas, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Burnice Clyde and Mary Louise Pannell (Voss); and her brothers, Milton and Carl Pannell. She is survived by: her husband Leslie Fortenberry of Slidell, Texas; her children, Cindy DeShan (David) of Midland, Diana Gaddy (Mark) of Canon City, Colorado and Matthew Morgan (Alison) of Ft. Collins, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Eric DeShan (Shelley), Catherine Horton (Josh), Rebecca Wade (Kevin), Kyle Gaddy (Erin), Kelsey Moon (Alex), Noah, Jane and David Morgan. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; extended family members and a host of friends.
