He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemoyne Wright and Juanita Wright (Purcell); and his brother Darrell Wright. He is survived by: his wife Grace Wright (McGiboney); his children, Charlene Ericson (Stephen) and David Wright; his sister-in-law Sheila Wright; his grandchildren, Sheldon and Victoria; and his great grandchildren, Henry and Hunter.
