Max David McDonald Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2024, at the age of 96, Max David McDonald (Decatur, Texas) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Max David McDonald to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Patrick McDonald and Artie McDonald (Warner); his siblings, June, Mary, Robert, Terrell, Pat, George and Frank; and his son-in-law David Rhine.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Rhine of Frisco and Jim McDonald (Julie) of Decatur; his grandchildren, John Rhine (Julie) of Frisco, Jennifer Yarbrough (David) of Carrollton, Mark, Jessica McDonald of Melissa and Kevin McDonald of Northlake; and his great grandchildren, Andrew, Joshua, Nathan, Joseph, Ian, Jacob, Luke, Cohen and Landry. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hawkins Funeral Home - Decatur (405 E Main St, Decatur, TX 76234-1513). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM at the Bethel Cemetery (565 Farm to Market Rd 1810, Decatur, TX 76234).
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Faith Baptist Church of Decatur, or Cook's Children's Hospital in Ft. Worth.
