“My deepest condolences on Martin’s passing. He was a very unique and special person who spread kindness to everyone he came across and worked tirelessly to help people and the community. I worked with Martin at Poco and interacted with him in his various roles with the city and United Way. When I first came to Decatur in 1998 Martin graciously helped me meet people and learn about Decatur. I fondly remember the amazing Decatur history lessons that he provided. He touched a lot of people.”
