With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Marie McDaniel of Decatur, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Gotcher and Ruth Gotcher; her husband E. H. Speck McDaniel; her sisters, Maxine Walker and Betty Jean Smith; her daughter Tina McDaniel; and her grandson Dustin Reid.

She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Welsh (J. R.) of Woodland, CA, Leah Pitts (Bill) of Decatur and Krista Granger (Andy) of Decatur; her grandchildren, Kenny Reid of Decatur, Jacob Lewis of Decatur, Maycee Dwinell (Marcus) of Decatur, Spencer Pitts of Decatur and Cameron Pitts of Decatur; her great grandchildren, Kenzie and Kaylee Dwinell of Decatur; and her sister Dorothy Childers of Decatur. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
