She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Jackson and Odessa Cox (Cornelison); her former husband James Bennett; her brother Raymond Cox; and her brother-in-law James Parker.
She is survived by: her husband David Souther of Decatur; her son Deroy Bennett (Kristi) of Decatur; her grandsons, Hayden Bennett of New Castle, OK and Caleb Bennett (Gracie Isham) of Decatur; her stepsons, Tommy Souther (Angie) of Keller and Danny Souther (Kellye) of Alvord; her stepgrandchild Sloane Morman (Ethan) of Haslet; and her stepchildren, Slate Souther of Denver, CO, Austin Souther of Alvord and Shay Souther of Keller. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
