He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Pigg and Frances Imogene Pigg. He is survived by: his wife Jan Pigg of Decatur; his children, Michelle Jay (Kevin) of Lufkin, Kim Neathery (Kevin) of Decatur, Michael Eric Paxon (Barbara) of Tyler, Nicholas Guinn of Tampa and Greg Guinn of Napa; his brother Deryl Pigg (Kathi) of Columbus; his niece Alicia Pigg of Houston; and his grandchildren, John David Jay, Riley Jay, Chase Neathery, Avery Gates (Neathery), Timothy James Paxon, Sean Paxon, Elizabeth Paxon and Elise Guinn.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors (2025 W University Dr, Denton, TX 76201).
