He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon Meek and Delores Glynn Meek (Dunn); his wife Jean Meek; and his daughter Brenda Kaye Summers. He is survived by: his children, Dianna Wilhelm (Mike) of Decatur and Grant Summers (Tiffany) of Decatur; his granddaughters, Bonnie Sessums (Edward) of Oklahoma, Lee Meek of Decatur and Carie Meek of Decatur; and his siblings, Michael Meek (Carol) of Howe, Stephen Meek (Mandy) of Bells, Melva Langford (Harold) of Whitewright and Maudianne Ramsey (Mike) of Bells.
