She was predeceased by: her parents, Carson Perry Shelton (Martha Marion "Mae") and Cearley; her sisters, Mary Catherine Jobe, Minnie Violet Whitworth and Melba Joyce Lunsford; and her great grandchild Taylon James Williams.

She is survived by: her husband Ronald Womack; her daughters, Charla Gay (Monte Smith) of Valley View, Pamela Renee' (George Leija) of Decatur and Angela Kay (Michael Musgrave) of Decatur; her sister Linda Marie Shelton (Roy Watkins) of Decatur; her granddaughters, Heather Dawn Stephens Williams of Paradise, Amanda Nicole (Jason Foreman) of Decatur, Ashley Marie (Skipper Church) of Weatherford, Briana Smith (Chris Cuellar) of Celina, Melissa Musgrave of Denison and Monica Musgrave (Alex Borders) of Frisco; her great grandchildren, Layton Kendall Williams, Rylan Kane Williams, Lastyn Kort Williams, Carson Daniel Church, Landon Austin Borders, Reese Atley Foreman, Rylee Alyse Foreman, Jada Nicole Hernandez, Jaelynn Nevaeh Cuellar, Jaelah Brynn Cuellar, Sydney Kate Smith, Alayna Kai Borders and Kinley Preston Borders; and also, Rev. Willard Kiper, Kerry Clower, Monte Smith, George Leija, Michael Musgrave, Layton Williams, Rylan Williams, Lastyn Williams, Jason Foreman and Skipper Church. She is also survived by Her pastor and great-grandchildren conducted the service with other relatives.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Wise County Heritage Museum or other organizations of your choice.

“Frank and I last saw Aunt Carla on the day of her sister Melba Joyce's (Frank's mom) funeral not quite two months ago. Despite her own fragile health, Carla helped Frank and his siblings with planning that sad event. We are so sorry Uncle Ronald, Charla, Pam, Angela, other Womack family members and Aunt Linda for your loss. Aunt Carla was a lovely and loving woman and we will miss her.
