He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnie Perry Deaton and Eunice Deaton (Womack); his sister Zoe Evelyn Gore (Deaton); his former wife DeLaine Deaton (Branch); and his sons, Arnie Ray Deaton, Jr. and John Perry Deaton.
He is survived by: his nephew Richard Deaton Gore of Dallas; and also Elaine Boyer. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
