He is survived by: his wife Rosalia Hernandez Mata of Carthage; his children, Rodolfo Hernandez (Belem Betancourt), Pedro Hernandez, Jr. (Maria Esther), Jaime Hernandez, Gilberto Hernandez (Maria De Julian), Javier Hernandez, Luis Antonio Hernandez, Noralva Hernandez, Leticia Hernandez and Patricia Hernandez; and his siblings, Guillermo Hernandez, Isodoro Hernandez, Gumercindo Hernandez, Juliana Hernandez, Filiberta Hernandez, Maria of Jesus and Daria Hernandez. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and numerous friends.
