He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Brinkmann and Annie Lee Mynar; his wife Annie Mae of Caldwell; and his brothers, Curtis and Ernest.

He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Ann (Jason Williford) of Deanville and Curtis Brinkmann (Sherri) of Conroe.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home (404 W Buck St, Caldwell, TX 77836). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Chriesman Cemetery (479 Farm to Market Rd 1363, Caldwell, TX 77836).
