He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Tietjen and Olga Tietjen (Mikulin); and his son Timothy Nathan Tietjen Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Tietjen (Pargac); his daughter Laura Elizabeth Tietjen; his sister Gale; and his brother-in-law Reuben Rendon.
