She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Verniece and Marie Verniece; her husband Albert Burns; and her siblings, Bennie Le Barnes, Calvin Barnes, Myrtle Nevels, Willie Mae Johnson, Bernice Barnes Brooks, Vera Barnes and Ethel Mae Barnes. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great, great nieces and nephews.
