He is survived by: his children, Brent Pertl, April Drew (Pertl) and Tisha Wathen (Pertl); his wife Melinda Pertl; his sister Joyce Thatcher; and his grandchildren, Ansley Pertl, Jacob Wathen, Audrey Wathen, Alexa Drew and Ava Drew.
