He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Albert Plaunty and Helen Mae Stone Plaunty; and his brother Kenneth Plaunty. He is survived by: his children, Ella Faith Plaunty and Silas Gray Plaunty; his wife Baylor Plaunty; his sister Caroline Pettigrew; and his sisters-in-law, Arey (Olen) of Tennessee, Candyce Hewett, Courtney Bowen and Callie Carey (Marshall). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and other extended family.
