It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie LoRee Stokes (De Leon, Texas), who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Otwell and Luvina Otwell; her spouse Tommie L. C. Stokes; and her siblings, Delbert Otwell (Bernice), Finas Ray Otwell and Odell McKinney.
She is survived by: her daughter ReNeta Ocanas (Adam) of Sundown; her siblings, Corbett Otwell (Beverly) of De Leon and Juanita Otwell of Comanche; and her grandchildren, Joshua Shewmake, Christina Garza (Robert), Deborah Ocanas (Harley Guajardo), Kelly Ocanas, Adam Ocanas Jr. (Jessica), Laura Ortiz, Vanessa Ocanas and Veronica Lacy (Patrick). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 2 nieces; and 4 nephews.
