He was predeceased by: his parents, James Burkeen and Nell Burkeen (Gooden); his grandparents, Lewis B, Ollie Grace Burkeen, Jack and Lydia Arene Gooden; his nephew Jarod Burkee; his sons-in-law, Joe Bain and Clinton Rice; and his brother-in-law Bobby Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Crim; his children, Stephanie Lively, Kaci Bain, Brandon Burkeen (Jonie) and Breanna Crim; his siblings, Jim Burkeen (Samar), Sandra Burkeen (Billy) and Cathy Campbell; his mother-in-law Charlotte Ann Crim; and his grandchildren, Zaylyn, Chelsi, Jakob Bain, Brayden, Bryce, Kendyl, Karsyn Burkeen, Anna, Elliana and Jillian Lively.
