She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Neal Goates and Eula Mae James Goates; her husband James Vinson; her brothers, Louie Goates (Wanda) and Norman Goates; her daughters, Becky Bryan (Harvey) and Barbara Jones (Kendall); and her siblings, A. C. Goates (Ruth) and Olivia Fields. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
