He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ambrose Ripley and Alma Maurine Hicks Ripley; and his siblings, Mary D. Ripley, Dorotha Sikes (Leon) and J. S. Ripley.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his children, James Patrick Ripley of De Leon and Dianne Tiller (Steve); and his grandson Cole Tiller of Tyler, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
