Jimmie R. Cogburn Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmie R. Cogburn of De Leon, Texas, who passed away on December 31, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Gooden and Irene Lillie Smith Gooden; her husband Ottis Jay Cogburn; and her children, Charlene Strube, Frances Wright, Calvin Cogburn and Scottie Cogburn.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Williams, Jackie Cogburn and Jim Cogburn (Beverly); her grandchildren, Toby Cogburn (Christal), Freddy Williams, Ray Williams (Darla), Sonja Scott (Terry), Bill Williams (Christie), Jason Cogburn (Laurie), Starla Dyson (Cord), Haley Cogburn, Shelby Sutton, Joey Wright (Jonna), Jacobi Cogburn (Ricky) and Stevie Daniel (Kevin); and her sisters, Hazel Hardwick and Bennie Lawson. She is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
