He was predeceased by: his father Paul Doris; his wife Helen Adams; his mother Ruby Adams; and his brothers, Bob Adams, Paul Adams and Carroll Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Adams (Jacque), Regenia Sadberry (Alan), Elania Lingle (Carroll) and Jeannie Howard (Quentin); his grandchildren, Eric (Monica Lingle), Meagan Landry (Jesus Medina), Braxton Sadberry, Lacy Lingle (Jay Urban), Auston (Samantha Sadberry), Corinna (Jordan Willis), Dallas (Mitchell McGarr), Brittany Cruz (Travis Hampton) and Caleb Cruz; his great grandchildren, Bentley Lingle and Aiden Senn; his great great grandchildren, Jonah and Anthony; and his siblings, Lloyd Earl Adams (Sue), Richard Adams (Beth) and Margie Gazaway.
