He was predeceased by: his parents, James David May and Johnnie Mae Pendergraft May; and his sisters, Ann Dunlap, Leola Bodie, Judy Brown and Mary May.
He is survived by: his children, Derek May (Joanna) and Michelle Killough; his grandsons, Caleb Killough, Collin Killough, Hunter May and Austin May; and his great grandchildren, Easton Killough and Brailynn Killough. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
