He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Short and Edith Cline Short; and his brother Pat Short. He is survived by: his brother Archie Short of Madrid, Spain; and his cousins, Jan Jones of Dublin and Lance Jones of De Leon. He is also survived by other extended family and close friends.
