He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Proby and Caldonia Sims Proby; and his siblings, Evelyn Bohanon and Jack Galbert. He is survived by: his wife Tikita Proby of De Kalb, Texas; his children, Caldonia Proby of De Kalb, Texas, Azairah Luzincourt of De Kalb, Texas and A'sun Proby of De Kalb, Texas; his brother George; his sister-in-law Freddie Proby of De Kalb, Texas; and his close friend Ray Moore of De Kalb, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
