He is survived by: his children, Shawn McDaniel of Mustang, Jason (Amy McDaniel) and Sue Krentz of LaPorte, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Rachel Krentz, Kathleen McDaniel, Jacob Krentz, Mira McDaniel, Ellen McDaniel, Christian McDaniel and Bridget McDaniel. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
