He was predeceased by: his parents, Onie L. Goodwin and Willie Martha Oliver Goodwin; his former wife Neta Woodard Goodwin; his granddaughter Amanda Gardner-Hawkins; his great grandchild Kimberly Russell; and his siblings, Velma Goodwin Dyke, George Patrick Goodwin and Estes Palmer Goodwin.
He is survived by: his wife June Goodwin of De Kalb, Texas; his son David; his daughter-in-law D'Anne Goodwin of Ringold, Oklahoma; his daughter Barbara; his son-in-law Kyle Gardner of De Kalb, Texas; and his grandchildren, Kristopher Brian Goodwin, Misty Tingle, Kay-Cee Miller, Dillon Gardner, Marc Beettner, Becky Hilbun and Billie Beettner. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
