He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Steve Adams, Sr. and Armindia Lee Tanner Adams; his daughter Diane Carver Adams; his sister Bobbie Jean Comer; and his grandchildren, Micah Tice and Ruth Tice.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Lane Adams of De Kalb, Texas; his children, Dana Adams of Clearwater, Lisa Adams of Clearwater, Florida and Keith; his daughter-in-law Amy Adams; his granddaughter Madeline Gurowitz-Adams of Montclair; his brother Gen; his stepdaughter Lois Lorino (Walter) of Slidell, Louisiana; and also, John W., Elaine Tice of Texarkana, Arkansas, Benjamin, Janice Tice of Las Vegas, Nevada, Dan and Gina Tice of Palestine, Texas. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
